PIR & Polyurethane Insulation Boards
PIR (polyisocyanurate) insulation board has a thermal conductivity of about 0.020–0.024 W/(m·K), roughly R-6 to R-6.5 per inch. Be There supplies 20–200 mm boards in 1200 × 2400 mm and 1200 × 600 mm sizes with foil, kraft or glass-tissue facings.

Features
Built for daily commercial use.
Highest R per inch
PIR delivers about R-6 to R-6.5 per inch, more than XPS or EPS at the same thickness.
Fire behaviour
PIR chars instead of melting and reaches B1 in GB 8624 testing, which is why insurers and fire codes prefer it.
Foil facings
Embossed aluminium foil acts as a vapour barrier and radiant barrier in walls, roofs and ducts.
Cut to size
Standard boards or custom sizes, shiplap or tongue-and-groove edges on request.
Applications
Where it works.
- Cold room and freezer walls
- Flat and pitched roofs
- Pre-insulated HVAC air ducts
- Cavity walls
- Floors and underfloor heating
- Pipe and tank insulation
